and driving
windows open
sun beating down
glorifying my left arm
while my right arm is busied
with the selection of music
and beverages
and treats.

Anticipating the destination
as much as enjoying the journey
a break from the norm
a brief glimpse of the other me
the adventurous one
the carefree one
